In July, Samsung introduce a new version of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G in India. The well-known smartphone manufacturer from South Korea has made an official announcement regarding the relaunch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition in the country. The model has a 5nm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The replacing the Exynos 2100 SoC that was featured in the initial release of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G last year. Notable improvements include the inclusion of an Adreno 660 GPU and a confirmed onboard storage capacity of 256GB. However, the launching date has not been clear by Samsung.
Through a press release, Samsung has confirmed the imminent arrival of the Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered Galaxy S21 FE 5G in India, slated for release in July. While the precise launch date remains undisclosed. The device is set to offer an Adreno 660 GPU and an onboard storage capacity of 256GB. These upgrades will surpass the base 128GB storage capacity available in the current Exynos 2100 SoC-powered Galaxy S21 FE.

In anticipation of the launch, Samsung has created a dedicated landing page on its website to tease the arrival of the new Galaxy S21 FE 5G variant. The page features a “coming soon” tag, and interested individuals can register their contact details with Samsung to receive the latest updates regarding the launch and availability of the new device.
As of now, there is no official information regarding the pricing for the new Galaxy S21 FE. However, a recent report suggested a price tag of Rs. 49,999 for the model. Last year’s Galaxy S21 FE 5G was released at Rs 54,999 for the 128GB storage and Rs 58,999 for the 256GB. Currently, the device is available for purchase starting at Rs. 32,999. It was introduced as a modified version of the regular Galaxy S21. And featured the Snapdragon 888 SoC in select markets.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G specifications
Apart from the chipset, expected the upcoming model is to share key specifications with the Exynos 2100 variant of the Galaxy S21 FE. The current model boasts a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. And comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM as the standard configuration. It has a triple rear camera setup consisting of two 12-megapixel sensors. Additionally, it features a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor. The device houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging, 15W wireless fast charging, and reverse charging capabilities.
