What is AI-Generated content?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly used to create text. And this is the use of computer programs and algorithms, rather than by human authors.
AI content is created to use natural language processing (NLP). And machine learning techniques that allow computers to understand and mimic human language.
There are several types of AI-generated content, such as text, speech, images, and videos. These have many tools for creating high-quality content for sites, social sites, automated customer service, etc.
It is worth noting that AI content has its limitations. As we continue to see technological advancements in the field of AI. The way it will reshape the world of content creation remains to be seen.
For now, it is important to understand the impact of AI-generated content on SEO.
AI-written content with Google SEO –
When it comes to utilizing AI-generated content for SEO. It is important to know the potential impact on your online business. If your business depends on search engines to drive traffic. Then this is especially relevant to you.
Last year, John Muller said that AI content is still under the type of automatically generated content. He clarified that using machine learning tools to generate content is similar to using translation or tricks. The quality of content by these AI tools may be better than older methods. It is still considered automated. So, it is against Google’s webmaster guidelines.
When asked, “Google can identify the difference between AI and human-generated content?”. Then John Muller said that he cannot claim that and if the web spam team sees anything. The team can take action for automatically generated content.
Tools like Chat GPT and Jasper maybe produce good responses. It seems better than an average human’s answer. But it is important to notice that creating low-quality content using AI tools is. That is not fact-checked and edited by a human being is a sure way to get penalized by the Google webspam team. So, you have to keep in your mind that even with the improvement of AI writing tools. The quality and authenticity of the content still matter.
Would help to get some kind of on-the-record statement from Google about this, relative to their previous guidance on AI-generated content.
Is this considered non-violative based on it being “backstopped” by a human? Other reasons? Genuinely curious.

One of the major issues with AI-generated content is quality. And the relevance to the user query. Additionally, the authenticity of the content can be a concern if you rely solely on AI research tools. As mistakes may be hard to spot and could damage your brand reputation.
Another issue is plagiarism. AI content may include sentences from other sources without proper wording. Which is not only unethical but could also result in penalties from search engines. So, you must avoid this or check it before finalizing. You must run your content in the plagiarism checker tool for getting the best result.
AI-generated content can lack a human touch and the sound feels robotic. This could be a problem in certain niches. As it may not resonate with your target audience and also harm your brand.
The quality and authenticity of the content are important parts. The content should be checked and proofread by a human. Before publishing content corrects the mistakes that could harm your brand reputation.
AI-generated content & SEO –
AI writing tools are evolving rapidly and they are not like the past text-spinning tools. They now have the capability to write like humans.
When AI writing tools first appeared, their quality was very poor. However, the current status of these tools is good, more advanced, and impressive.
While AI tools may never equalize the abilities of human authors. This fact may not be acceptable to someone. But it is the current status of the tool.

My predictions around AI-generated content –
As AI tools will improve and make more advances. Then bloggers & content creators will increasingly start using it to create content. It’s also likely that we will see a wave in the development of AI content tools in the future.
As a result of this modification, the role of content editors may evolve. And it will become more important for them to be well-versed in the use of AI tools.
For freelance content writers, it’s important to view AI writing tools as an assistant. The tools such as Grammarly, which was initially met with opposition. But is now widely accepted and utilized by those who write online. As a blogger or content creator, you can use AI tools to give ideas, concepts, and much more. Yet, never publish the content without editing or adding your personal touch.
