Nothing is gearing up to launch the successor to its Nothing Phone 1 in the coming month. The company has already provided glimpses of the design and key specifications of the upcoming Nothing Phone 2 through teasers. Now, in the latest update, CEO Carl Pei has unveiled the charging cable design that will accompany the Nothing Phone 2. Recently, the company also disclosed that the new smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 4700mAh battery.
Taking to Twitter, Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei shared a sneak peek of the forthcoming Nothing Phone 2 charging cable design. The USB Type-C cable will sport a transparent outer layer with a silver-colored USB port, prominently displaying the Nothing branding. Additionally, the image suggests that the Nothing Phone 2 will come with a white-colored USB Type-C cable.
Earlier, while announcing the launch date of the upcoming smartphone, the company teased the design and key specifications of the Nothing Phone 2. It was confirmed that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and will boast a 4700mAh battery. Nothing also revealed that the handset will feature a 6.7-inch display screen and a redesigned rear Glyph interface.

Furthermore, Nothing announced that the Nothing Phone 2. And it will receive three years of Android OS updates with four years of security updates.
The Nothing Phone 2 is set to succeed its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 1, which was launched in India in July last year. The previous model showcased a unique transparent back panel with the Glyph Interface and LED strips. It offered a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, the smartphone housed a 4,500mAh battery.
